We’ve always considered ourselves to be pioneers of our market sector, being the first company to offer cut-price colour matched paint in Scotland. We’ve since expanded our business to extreme ends of the paint industry, while maintaining the approachability and professionalism which made us successful to begin with. We would therefore implore you to look to us for environmental advice, training and support. We not only understand the effect the paint industry has on the environment, we also understand the effect the environment will have on the paint industry. With new legislation yet to be implemented on the use of solvents in some sectors of the paint industry, it is vital for us and our customers to be able to keep up with all innovative technologies in paint and chemical coatings. Scott Paints, for example, is currently the sole UK supplier of the only paint product ever to win the European Commission’s ‘LIFE’ award, a mark awarded to products and companies who have shown a commitment to environmental concerns through technological innovation. While in the past, water based coatings were seen as less efficient and effective as their solvent-based counterparts, our systems have now evolved to such an extent that most water based paints can match and some even better the old-fashioned solvent based ones, in both performance and economic advantage. All of our staff are trained as far as possible in the application and theories of our systems, in order to best lend you advice and practical tips. Full training is available to all our customers without charge, in order to eliminate any problems you may have with our systems and coatings.
